Intro:

The glandular fever test aids in the diagnosis of Infectious Mononucleosis, a viral infection commonly caused by the Epstein-Barr virus (EBV). It typically affects adolescents and your adults, presenting with symptoms such as sore throat, fever, lymphadenopathy and fatigue.
The test is a lateral flow test which detects heterophile antibodies. Early infections may five false negatives.
