Indication:
Peripheral neuropathy.

Further information:
These autoantibodies frequently occur with IgM paraproteinaemia. MAG autoantibodies contribute directly to the pathogenesis of peripheral neuropathies. Patients with anti-MAG antibody titres may respond favourably to therapeutic intervention. Testing for the presence of these autoantibodies is useful for monitoring of therapy as well as diagnosis.
